When people say the advantages of being bisexual is having your chances doubled on getting a date,having your chances doubled on getting laid Saturday night, having more variety of types of sex, and being able to be turned on by almost everybody; all those things makes bisexual people sound like a bunch of sluts, and that's not true about us. Sure, those things are true but, they are not the reason why we chose to be bisexual.
Anyways, about your question. The advantages I can think of, that aren't related to sexual things are, being able to give relationship advice to both straight and gay people since you love both genders, you know the problems that can stir up with each one, and most importantly, the best thing about being bisexual is,admitting to yourself that you are. Yeah, if your a hyper-sexual person, being bisexual can satisfy you but, you can be any other sexual orientation and also have a lot of sex with the most different partners.
The disadvantages of being bisexual are pretty obvious, homophobic people are going to insult you, hate you for being who you are, and try to change you. Also, sometimes, your partner may not enjoy knowing you are also attracted to the same sex, and may want to leave you or not even be with you in the first place. And the disadvantages that I don't like about being bisexual are that a lot of people tell me that there is no such thing as being bisexual, and that I'm just bisexual because I was just such a horny straight guy, that to satisfy my cravings, I had to also move on to the same gender.
If your bisexual, be proud of it, and don't let anyone take your pride away. Being bisexual is awesome, and so are all the other sexual orientations. Every sexual orientation has their ups and downs, but in the end, they are all equally great
